HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
The original building is a palace for temporary residence of HRH Sultan Iskandar Shah of Perak 30th.
After HRH Sultan Iskandar Shah moved to Iskandariah Palace, the Palace was used as a guest palace.
Kenangan Palace name was given by the first Prime Minister of Malaysia Tunku Abdul Rahman.
The museum was inaugurated on 16 November 1986.
